Balani returns with his genre bending quartet ‘Dharma’ with a brand new single ‘Locusts are Descending’.

The sound of ‘Dharma’ reflects the transatlantic collaboration and his musical friendship with New York native, trumpeter Adam O’Farrill, Finnish guitarist, Olli Hirvonen and Indian pianist, Sharik Hasan.

The paradoxical interplay of electronic abstraction and acoustic purity seems to be at the core of ‘Locusts are Descending’ ; the soaring trumpet lines, hypnotic synth arpeggiators, lush guitar textures blend seamlessly with Balani’s understated yet buoyant drumming.
